Good bye Xanga.

The reason for the leave:

I started Xanga when I was in high school, post my first break-up. It was a place to vent and to read my friends' blogs. And to follow by ex's gf's blog, which I'm not too proud of. I continued using it through university to rant about school, write about daily random things and squeal about boys I meet along the way. As I'm about to graduate from university, it's time to move on/grow up as this chapter of my life ends. So good bye to ohhhenry and hello a different username on another blog, which will probably focus more on health, nutrition, and my slow struggle to overcome binge eating and the consequences I induced to my body.

Life in general can be redundant and at times downright depressing when things are not going right. But you need to believe that dreams come true everyday because they do - big and small. Believe that happiness doesn't come from money, fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from good friends and family and the ability to live a good life. Happiness comes from the simple things. It's around us just waiting for us to look for them. Believe that love is out there. Believe that you'll overcome past bad break-ups and love is waiting for you. Believe dreams come true everyday because they do. Take a look in the mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be. Believe that. I believe. I. Believe.

"It left her with this constant fear... that everything could suddenly fall apart and that's why she needs to control everything. Of course she can't... Nobody can. But she can control me. If I let her. So I do. Because it makes her feel safe. And that is my job... To make her feel safe."

As Mark Twain said "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails."
